Hey Neil, How would you compare these courses to some of the paid courses out there? I feel a little cautious feeling like I’m not getting the best information from free courses. Are there any paid ones that you would recommend OVER these free courses? Or would you say that there is no need for paid courses? Your answer/advice on this would really help. Thanks!

  2. I am amazed at how you even made this video available for us at zero cost!! This is great stuff, you are an Angel 😀 Thanks a ton, Neil.

Hi, I am new to Digital Marketing from finance background. This info was really useful. And I started with google as a base and now your videos are super informative. But Sir, how to overcome the fear/self doubt? I am confident but sometimes I have a fear of failure. Any suggestions, sir.

  8. Nothing great happens without taking risks! You may fail at times, but just get back up and keep going 🙂

I’ve been doing SEO since 2012 but I decided to start a digital marketing career in 2018. I got a simple diploma in Digital Marketing which took me six months part-time, then got certifications from Hubspot (Inbound & Email) and Google (Analytics & Google Ads (Search & Measurement)). This got me to the next stages of my first interview where they set a project for me and I smashed it. I was up against more experienced marketers but I got the job. I definitely recommend self-development on Hubspot & Google.

  11. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, friend 🙂 That’s awesome

  12. Hi Neil, I absolutely love your content. I’m a new to digital marketing and this video is full packed with info to get you started. Unfortunately I’m not able to acces Hubspot free courses because my windows is “outdated” and they only accept windows 11 at least. Any other suggestion to acces their courses?

  13. Hey Neil, this is some great information for a career start. And I love how you respond to every comment and take personal care for people.
My question : I do not have any experience in Digital Marketing. By doing these courses and getting those certificates, will I be eligible to get a job in Digital Marketing (provided I ace the interview ofcourse!) ?

  14. I’d say by doing this course and getting some other online certifications, yes you could be eligible for getting an entry level job and working your way up!

Hey Neil, I am a marketing professional and practicing the subject from last more than 15 years. Being on the corporate side I keep planning and do media buying by myself or at times through 3rd party agencies. Now I want to learn Digital Marketing professionally so that I can start my own venture. So please guide which course I should opt for which can really help me to excel in my business? And which are the best institutes I can look for?

  16. Hey Neil, thank you for this excellent video for us who are looking to succeed in life. Me and my partner are planning to create a course and I’ll be in charged of digital marketing so which one do you recommend me to start with? Thank you in advance and CHEERS FROM PERU.!

Hey Neil, Really cannot thank you enough for what you have done! Amazing content as usual! Had a question wanted to know what would you suggest a restaurant should do to market at this point in time when business is really low! This is an Indian restaurant and all the steps recommended by WHO are taken!

    Thanks In Advance,
    Yashasva P Jain

  18. I would suggest doubling down on your digital marketing right now, as there are a ton of people at home and online

  19. Yashasva P Jain

@Neil Patel  thank you so much for your reply! Though of course I don’t deserve a free reply again but if possible let me know which platforms are suggested under paid marketing, Is it Google, Facebook & Instagram, or something else? And should we only expect Brand Awareness or you feel we will get conversions, or maybe the costs will be very high to acquire the customers?

    Thanks Again
    Yashasva P Jain.

  20. Hey Neil, thanks for all of your awesome content I really appreciate the time you take to put these together! I have a question!..if I want to get a marketing internship what’s the best way if you have very minimal experience, for example I ran 1 campaign for a local business and generated some good leads. Should I put a hubspot certification on my CV and how should I structure it so it looks good? Thanks! Any response is very much appreciated!

  21. Yes, definitely get some online certifications. It even helps to make a small online portfolio showcasing your work 🙂

  22. Hey Neil, this is exactly what i have been searching for three months. I currently work on my own recipe blog and it has been very difficult for me to drive traffic. But today while scrolling down, i found this video and this has really been helpful for me. Can’t thank you enough for sharing this video. 🙂

Hello Sir, video was amazing! I’m Debanjan Bhowmik and I’m following you from around 3-4 years. I’m a big fan of yours!

Now I decided to switch my career from philosophy to digital marketing. Beacause I am passionate about this. I started learning from various sources. I’ll definitely check out all of your references.

Sir, I know this question is irrelevant for this video, but I wanted to ask you a question that, as earlier I said, I was a philosophy student. I don’t have any marketing background, I don’t have any BBA or MBA degree.

Can I just jump into digital marketing career right away or do I have to have a MBA degree to get a digital marketing job?

Thanks a lot Sir ❤️ I will prey to the all mighty GOD for you and your family’s sound mind and body.

    Cheers,
    Debanjan

  26. Digital marketing is very complex so you’re not just going to be able to jump into it. I’d start taking some online courses, getting certifications, and try to get some entry level jobs to gain experience.

  30. Chaos Of Flavor

@geetika sharma Hi, I am planning to join DM course by IIM skills based in India. let me know. Thanks

  31. Hi Neil, thanks for the great content. May I ask if you know of a free or low cost course that allows startup founders 😅to learn marketing & practice what they learn on their own company (which is not generating much, if any revenue)? With thanks, regardless.

  32. EtherealAlien

Hey Neil, thank you so much for this video. It’s already helped me acquire lots of knowledge, as well as some certificates to add to my resume. One thing I just wanted to know about the Google Online Marketing Challenge, is that when I wanted to apply, it says I need an advisor/ to recommend me, as well as a team captain. I’ve done the required certificates, but what I just wanted to know is if it’s only exclusively for students, or is there a workaround for someone who isn’t a student/employee?
